At a minimum, access to the MINOS data is subject to the following rules:

All publications using MINOS generated information, as well as presentations to other sponsors and conferences need to be reviewed by HQ/MINOS Leads (contact info will be provided upon registration). To facilitate this, products will need to be shared well in advance of relevant deadlines. MINOS is required to consult the testbed operators to ensure they are comfortable with the ground truth data that is being shared outside the team. (We do not expect this requirement to stop any publications, but it is needed to maintain the positive relationship between collectors and the operations managers.)

Any publications/presentations that includes MINOS collected data should include the data collectors as co-authors and they should be integral to the data implementation to ensure it is interpreted properly. If you are unsure who to include, either contact the “data owner” as listed in the JSON or MINOS Leads.

Please do not share login information for any of the MINOS systems. The data that are made available on the MINOS Data Portal are intended only for those who have been briefed on and understand the need to clear its use in unrestricted distributions (publications). Therefore, any requests for MINOS data from those who do not already have access need to be referred to the MINOS leads.

Please do not disseminate MINOS data without consulting with MINOS leads. We have MINOS data use agreements with a number of other projects and want to manage data sharing to ensure our ground rules are communicated and our sponsor is aware of how the data is being employed.
